Privacy Policy
What we collect when you order, why we hold it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
This policy covers the information we collect when you use this website or place an order.
What we collect
When you order: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address; what you bought; how you chose to pay. For a bank transfer, the screenshot or receipt you upload as proof of payment.
When you contact us: whatever you put in the message, and the address or number you sent it from.
When you subscribe: your email address.
When you browse: the pages viewed and products opened, and basic technical information your browser sends. Your bag is kept in a cookie so it survives a refresh.
We do not collect card numbers, because we do not take card payments.
Why we hold it
- To pack, deliver and account for your order — that is the whole of it for most customers.
- To email you about that order: confirmation, dispatch, and anything that goes wrong.
- To answer a message you sent us.
- To email you about new pieces, if — and only if — you asked us to.
- To understand which products and pages people look at, in aggregate.
Who we share it with
- The courier, who needs your name, address and phone number to deliver.
- Our email provider, to send the emails above.
- Our hosting and database providers, who store the site and its data.
That is the list. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Payment proof
The screenshot you upload for a bank transfer is stored in private storage, not in a public folder. It is reachable only by signed-in staff processing that order. It is a financial document and is treated as one.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we are required to keep business records, and because a customer asking about a two-year-old order deserves an answer. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept while they are useful and then deleted.
Marketing email
Every marketing email carries a way to unsubscribe, and it works on the first click. Order emails are not marketing — you cannot unsubscribe from being told your parcel has shipped, and would not want to.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your bag between pages, to keep a signed-in staff session, and to count page views. There is no advertising network tracking you here.
Your choices
Write to us and we will:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct anything wrong,
- delete what we are not required to keep,
- stop sending you marketing.
Use the contact page or WhatsApp. We answer within one working day.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted. Staff passwords are stored hashed, sessions are stored hashed, and access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders. No system is perfect; if something happens that affects your information, we will tell you rather than hope you do not notice.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the new version is published here.
