Cut to the knee with a turned-back hem that holds its own weight, so the leg stays put instead of riding up when you sit. Flat drawcord at the waist, side seam pockets deep enough to be useful, and a patch pocket at the back. The crinkle cloth is the reason these do not need ironing — ever.
